Christian Work Ethic.

I think one of the things most bizarre about the culture of the 'West' is the weird combination of hyper individualism and a very strong protestant christian work ethic.

Which is an odd contradiction to have under capitalism because (a) you're not meant to enjoy yourself; but (b) there's a weird pretense that everyone is enjoying themselves.

So I just say: "Fuck it, enjoy yourself!" Just forget about these restrictive social structures and spread the word about their evils.
